Nymphenburg Palace
The baroque palace in the west part of Munich was the summer residence of the Bavarian monarchs. Five generations of Wittelsbach rulers were involved in the construction of this stately ensemble, which houses several outstanding collections. With its lavishly decorated interior and the famous "Gallery of Beauties" commissioned by Ludwig I, the palace is one of Munich's favorite attractions. Among the highlights are the former bedroom of King Ludwig II and the impressive banquet hall with fine ceiling frescoes by Johann Baptist Zimmermann.

Hofbräuhaus Munich
The Munich Hofbräuhaus on the Platzl is one of the most well-known city institutions and is at the same time the most famous brewery in the world.At the end of the 16th century, Duke Wilhelm V. had the Hofbräuhaus built to supply the court of the Wittelsbachs so that it would no longer be necessary to import beer from Lower Saxony; Hofbräu beer could be brewed locally.

English Garten
The Englische Garten (“English Garden”) is one of the largest urban parks in the world. The layout has undergone constant change throughout the centuries as new buildings and green spaces were added time and again.

BMW World
The ensemble comprising BMW Welt, plant and museum at the Munich Oberwiesenfeld represents the internationally unique BMW world of experience. The synchronous integration of automobile delivery and thrilling temporary exhibitions about the past, present and future of the brands as well as a multifaceted daily event program have turned BMW Welt into an attractive place of encounter and exchange.

Viktualienmarkt Munich
When the food market of the city had grown too large for the central square Marienplatz, King Maximilian I issued a decree in 1807 to have it moved a few metres to the south-east, to the square between Heiliggeist-Kirche and Frauenstraße. Charity buildings that had once belonged to the church were demolished to make way for the market square or "Markplatz", which only much later came to be known as "Viktualienmarkt" or victuals market.

Therme Erding
